When a plane crashes on a remote island, three office workers from the same company and an orphaned teenager find themselves stranded with little hope of rescue. As they wait for help to arrive, their corporate skills prove useless in the wild, and tensions begin to rise.
Marie clings to her creature comforts, Ian appoints himself leader and begins digging holes everywhere, Gus drowns his sorrows in miniature bottles of airline spirits, and 16-year-old Erin struggles with grief after losing her parents in the crash.
As days turn to weeks and months, their desperate situation reveals the best and worst of human nature. Is there really anyone coming to save them? Are they truly the last people on Earth? And if so, what kind of society will they build from the wreckage?
This is an amateur production of Holes, by Tom Basden performed under license from Nick Hern books Ltd.
