Two travellers journey across the barren and dusty world. They make up songs and tell stories, inspired by the treasures they’ve collected from a time gone by. One day they happen upon something extra special, a lucky find that promises to breathe life back into the empty land that surrounds them.

With live music, puppetry and clowning, Stories In The Dust is a heartfelt, funny, post apocalyptic family show that takes you to another world. A world where an ancient book guides your way, a drop of rain changes everything and a mighty lion holds its secrets in an old clay pot.

Join two intrepid explorers who are full of stories and full of hope but dangerously low on baked beans.
Originally created through a residency at MAST Mayflower Studios for their Emergency Festival, Stories in the Dust has been further developed thanks to funding from Arts Council England and in partnership with Pound Arts, with additional support from Wiltshire Creative.

The story, narrative and themes of the show have been created with support from Ian Williams, Professor of Applied Environmental Science at Southampton University and alongside Longford Primary School.

This event has been made possible, thanks to 'Artsreach'.  Bringing larger professional shows to the smaller community is what they do best.  For further details, visit: https://www.artsreach.co.uk/

There is also a Junk Modelling workshop immediately after the performance, with limited spaces.
