Pink Pippos of Portland

The Pink Pippos of Portland is an adaptation of Sandra Fretwells children book, a family-friendly story of the magical creatures; the Pippos, who keep Chesil beach tidy and the pebbles graded, according to their proper size!


It's a super fun, colourful production (with songs and puppets!)


It will be under an hour long.


The Dates:

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 dates couldn't happen.  We're working up details to ensure a safe and enjoyable performance as soon as restrictions allow.  Stay tuned for details.


The Cast:

Anyone interested in volunteering to be in this production should come along to a script reading/informal casting when announced.

Roles available are...

Narrator / Dad (will need to sing/be able to play guitar? ukulele? Some instrument)

Sophie (will be playing a young girl)

Narrator 2/ Grandad / Noah (some singing involved!)

Narrator 3/ Mother / Queenie  (some singing involved!)  

Bubble  (some singing involved, although not as much as the character is "the silent clown")  

Sam the Seagull puppet / Mackerel 1 puppet/ Alarm Clam puppet (singing!)

Dave the Clam puppet / Mackerel 2 puppet/ Alarm Clam puppet (singing)
