Accessibility

The Royal Manor Theatre strives to improve access to the theatre to enable enjoyment of productions for all. Unfortunately, access to the theatre for those with physical disability is limited.

The theatre has a raised step at the front entrance, which leads in to the lower hall.

Access to the theatre's auditorium is via a staircase. The theatre has recently installed a stairlift to help those with limited mobility access performances, however this facility is unlikely to be suitable for those who are wheelchair bound.

Some productions may use theatrical effects, including haze, gunshots, and flashing lights. If these are likely to cause discomfort to you, please contact us prior to booking.

For the hard-of-hearing, the theatre is fitted with an induction loop facility. Hearing-aid users should turn their device to the 'T' position to utilise this facility. Seats towards the aisles have the strongest coverage for this facility.

Further details may be obtained by viewing our 'Access Statement'.

Latecomers

We don't like to disturb a settled audience if we can help it, so latecomers may only be admitted if there is a suitable break in the performance.  If that's the interval, then this may simply be when you'll be permitted access. Remember - please allow enough time for parking, or pre-show travel.

Security

For your comfort and safety, you may be subject to security checks on your visit to the theatre - we appreciate your patience and understanding whilst these are taking place.

CCTV
We record images for the purposes of crime prevention, public safety and prosecution of offenders.

Dogs
For the safety and comfort of all our patrons, as well as ensuring the best hygiene, we're only able to admit assistance dogs into our theatre.
