To get things rolling we're reaching out to the young people of Portland through the Into Film initiative (via Parents, Guardians and various Youth Groups based on the Island).
Into Film is a UK-wide programme of learning through and about film, providing 5-19 year olds with unparalleled opportunities to see, think, make and imagine. Browse the extensive film collection below.
It's free to join and all members will be able to attend screenings free of charge.

What is Into Film
Into film aims to make a wide range of films available to young people, which challenge, unite, educate, amaze and inspire.
The children and young people of Portland will now have the opportunity to explore the wonderful world of film and use the Into film website https://www.intofilm.org/films to search for the films they want to watch, submit reviews and enter exciting competitions!
Filmmaking opportunities
Through outreach projects, resources, workshops, competitions and matchmaking activities, we hope to provide the support required to facilitate filmmaking.
Industry interactions
Professionals from all areas of film production visit our clubs, to answer young people’s questions illuminating the challenges and rewards of their careers, while offering advice on how to enter the industry.
Cinema events
Into Film receives great support from the industry which allows us to host the Into Film Festival and provide year-round screening events and activities.
Opportunities for young people
Through our Talent Development Programme young people can apply to be ambassadors at red carpet events and previews. There is also the opportunity for young people to become members of our Youth Advisory Council and become the voice of Into Film, representing members from across the UK.
